Hi I'm Todd, The Lawn Mower Man.

I provide an outdoor care-taking service. I mow lawns, weed gardens, maintain hedges, etc. 
I live and work in the Carterton area of the Wairarapa.

I was born and breed in Carterton here in the Wairarapa where my parents owned the "Cona Coffee Lounge" (for those that remember the café). I learned about dedication and hard work from my parents watching them make something out of nothing. 

Life has taken me on many different journeys around the country from humble beginnings in Carterton to the Kapiti Coast and on to Whakatane, Gisborne and now a whole 360 back home to  Carterton.

My Partner (Suzanne) and I bought back the Wright Family homestead in Clareville and for all those that know our family will know exactly where that is behind the old bus shelter on SH2 Clareville.

 It is here that The Lawn Mower Man is located and operates from.

I have worked as a grounds care taker at Titoki Healing Center in Awakeri, Whakatane where I found my desire for lawn care. But before all of this I remember pushing Dads lawn mower around the back yard in Carterton. I would have been six years old at the time and could only just see under the  handle. Dad said  (probably Jokingly) " if you want some pocket money you'd better start it up!". So next weekend I was out there giving it a go in my shorts, singlet, hat and gumboots. I'm not sure how long it took me to start the jolly thing but I was away. The next thing I knew I was mowing a few of the neighbors lawns and I had my pocket money, that's how it all started.

Since those days If I've wanted  extra I've had to work for It, I really like the smell of the grass, the look of a fresh cut lawn and neat edges. Every lawn is different  but all deserve the same result.

I have had a successful career in the IT  industry but I felt that it is time for a change, to be outside in the fresh air, the wind and rain and enjoy the elements.

Therefore I want to mow your lawns , cut your hedges, put out the cat, feed the chickens, maybe walk the dog... Opps a little to far there, but all in consideration. I'd love to mow your lawns. I want to give a fair price for a fair job.
